Stoneware tableware for coffee shops

In a coffee shop, a cup cannot be chosen at random.

It accompanies the barista’s gesture, influences temperature, grip and the perception of the coffee.
It quietly contributes to the identity of the space.

This collection was developed in dialogue with coffee professionals and tested in real service conditions.

Each piece is wheel-thrown in my Paris studio, using high-fired stoneware.

Collection Comptoir en grès pour coffee shop, vaisselle en petite série

A collection designed for service

In many opening projects, tableware is chosen at the end of the process.
Formats do not always match the volumes served, restocking can be complicated and collections lack consistency.

The Comptoir Collection offers a clear and structured range, designed for specialty coffee service:

  • formats calibrated to the actual millilitres served

  • visual consistency across the entire menu

  • regular restocking possible

  • small-batch production in an independent studio

Why choose handmade tableware for your coffee shop?

A coffee shop is not just a place of consumption.
It is a space of ritual.

The cup becomes an extension of the counter.
It influences how the customer holds their coffee, looks at it, tastes it.

Choosing wheel-thrown tableware means:

  • affirming a clear identity

  • valuing craftsmanship

  • anchoring the space in attention to detail

  • creating a tactile experience
