Step into the shoes of a potter

Treat yourself to a gentle pause and discover the world of wheel-throwing, far from the pace of everyday life.

A pottery workshop in Paris, designed as a vibrant immersion into the craft of ceramics: a full day to learn, understand, and explore.

I welcome you into my bright studio in Ménilmontant to share the foundations of throwing and open the doors to handcrafted making.

Here, you don’t just come to “try”, but to truly experience the act of creating.

In a small group, within a warm and attentive setting, you’ll be guided in exploring the gestures, tools, and material… and you’ll leave with your very first thrown pieces.

An immersive workshop to discover wheel-throwing differently

Over the course of 6 hours, I welcome you into my studio in Ménilmontant to explore the world of ceramics and wheel-throwing.

In the morning, we’ll cover the basics: history of ceramics, types of clay, tools, recycling…

Then you’ll learn how to center the clay, lift it, and shape your very first forms.

After a lunch break in the garden or at the studio, the afternoon will be all about hands-on practice: refining your gestures, throwing new pieces, and discovering trimming — the step that brings a refined finish to your work.

Who is it for?

This workshop is open to everyone, with no prior experience needed.
Whether you're a complete beginner or simply curious to discover the craft as a whole, you are very welcome!
