A ceramicist’s life in Paris
—
my journey, my studio, my vision

Trained in fine arts, then at Clay studios, Lucie is a French designer and ceramicist.
“I deeply believe that the home — and especially those moments shared around a meal — is one of the most precious places to weave bonds, create memories, and celebrate life with our families, friends, and the kindred souls who walk beside us.
In my studio, I combine tradition and modernity, carefully selecting each glaze, each pattern, each colour.
Whether it’s a piece of tableware or a decorative object, each of my creations becomes a companion to these shared moments — a silent witness to the conversations and laughter exchanged around a table or in a warm corner of the home.
I want to help create an authentic experience, slow the frantic pace of modern life, and offer everyone a way to reconnect with their living space and their loved ones.
My pieces are invitations to togetherness, open doors to the warmth of home, objects that become lifelong companions.
I want to celebrate love, friendship, and the beauty hidden in the small moments of daily life — turning each living space into a refuge where connection and tenderness can flourish.”

In my ceramics studio in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, in Ménilmontant, I mainly work with stoneware and porcelain, using traditional artisanal methods.
I create poetic, functional pieces: tableware, cups, bowls, plates, as well as limited collections designed for the art of the table, for sharing, and for the tender moments of everyday life.
I also offer:
– Custom-made pieces for restaurateurs and chefs looking for handcrafted, personalized tableware to elevate their dishes and express their culinary identity through objects.
– Unique creations for event professionals and weddings: table decorations, guest gifts, and hand-built ceremonial pieces.
– Pottery workshops and classes in Paris: introductions, advanced sessions, one-day workshops, and team-building experiences for companies — for all those who want to reconnect with the joy of making things with their hands, at their own pace.
I follow a mindful and sustainable approach to production: each piece is crafted with intention, in rhythm with the seasons, the right gesture, and the time it truly takes.
Nothing is mass-produced — everything is made with respect for the pace of the clay and the integrity of the craft.
A vibrant space in the heart of Ménilmontant
My studio is tucked away in a quiet, light-filled corner of Ménilmontant, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
It’s a space for working and creating, but also for sharing knowledge and connecting with others.
I love welcoming those who are curious to try working with clay, to share a sensory experience, or simply to discover how a ceramic object comes to life.
Here, the dust of clay mingles with the light pouring through the windows, pieces dry quietly on the shelves, kilns hum gently in the background — and conversations weave between hand movements.
