Pottery classes by the trimester
A weekly meeting with clay — to learn, create, and slow down.

Wheel-throwing in a small group
On Friday evenings, the studio becomes a welcoming, creative space where people come together to make, experiment and share.
There is no fixed programme or model to reproduce. Everyone develops their own projects, discovers ceramic techniques and progresses at their own pace in a warm atmosphere where conversation and exchange naturally become part of the evening.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience with ceramics, you are very welcome.
My role is to help you transform your ideas into objects, or simply help you find inspiration when you are not yet sure where to begin.
The workshop is limited to eight participants, allowing for a lively group dynamic while ensuring individual guidance throughout the session.
This is a mixed ceramics course. Each student chooses a main practice (wheel throwing or hand-building) while gradually exploring all the techniques available in the studio.
A structure designed for lasting progress
When you enrol, you choose your main practice: wheel throwing or hand-building.
This will be the technique you practise most regularly throughout the year (around 20 of the 32 sessions).
Alongside your main practice, you will gradually discover the full range of ceramic techniques.
For example, students specialising in wheel throwing will also learn to make handles, assemble pieces, hand-build certain forms, decorate their work and apply glazes.
Likewise, students specialising in hand-building will discover wheel throwing, understand its principles, explore a different relationship with clay and enrich their overall practice.
The aim is not to separate the techniques, but to build solid foundations while developing a complete understanding of ceramics: assembling, decorating, glazing, finishing and more.
As the year progresses, you'll naturally move between wheel throwing and hand-building, decoration and glazing, depending on your projects.
You're free to create the objects that inspire you: a collection of bowls, a teapot, a vase, a lamp, sculptures, tableware for your home, or simply experimental pieces that allow you to explore the material.
Throughout every session, I provide individual guidance, answer your questions, help you overcome technical challenges, suggest new ideas and teach you new skills.
The workshop is open to all levels.
Beginners gradually build strong foundations, while more experienced students develop increasingly ambitious personal projects.
One of the workshop's greatest strengths lies in the diversity of the group: everyone learns not only from their own work, but also from the projects taking shape around them.
