Imagine this scene: you’re gathered around your table, and your guests admire tableware with a singular charm. Each plate feels designed just for this moment, each bowl shaped for a specific dish. When you choose to work with a ceramic artist, you’re not simply ordering objects: you’re creating a story. A dialogue between emotion, exchange, and bespoke creation. Here’s why (and how) this collaboration can transform your everyday life.

Custom tableware: why take the leap?
Choosing custom tableware means deciding that your table will look like no other. Like a tailor for your table, the ceramic artist designs each piece according to your needs, your cuisine, and your aesthetic sensibility.
Depths, diameters, colors, textures—everything can be adjusted so that each object naturally finds its place in your daily life… and in your heart.
Why choose custom-made?
Create a table that reflects who you are
Whether you’re a restaurateur, a passionate chef, or simply a lover of beautiful objects, your tableware becomes an extension of your world. It tells a story, your story.
Enhance your dishes
A dish presented on tableware designed specifically for it is like a jewel set in a case. The right contrast, the right depth; everything is designed to elevate your cuisine.
Escape standardization
Tired of seeing the same plates everywhere? With custom-made pieces, each item has its own personality. You’ll never find your tableware on someone else’s table.
Support local craftsmanship
By working with my studio, you support local, responsible, artisanal production. It’s an aesthetic choice; and a committed one.
Offer a truly unique gift
Custom tableware can also be an unforgettable gift: for a wedding, a restaurant opening, or a milestone birthday; objects that carry meaning and last over time.
How does the creation process work?
1. The design meeting
Everything begins with a conversation. What kind of tableware do you need? Flat plates, soup plates, bowls, cups? You share your inspirations, we discuss your uses, your material preferences, and your glazes. This step lays the foundation of the project.
2. Sketches and prototypes
I then propose sketches or small test pieces to refine the shape, size, and feel.Adjusting the height of a mug, the curve of a plate, the thickness of an edge, every detail matters when creating custom tableware.
3. Small-batch production
Once the design is approved, production begins in the studio. Wheel throwing, trimming, glazing, firings, each piece is crafted with care. The goal is a cohesive set, harmonious yet alive, true to the essence of handmade ceramics.
4. Delivery and the first service
You receive your finished pieces, ready to host your cuisine. And that first time a dish is placed on your custom tableware it’s always a special moment. A moment of pride, where your culinary vision meets the material.
